The 8753E is a vector network analyzer that provides magnitude and phase information, and can make group delay and time domain measurements as well. 　　　　S参数网络分析仪与时域功能的结合，为调谐谐振腔带通滤波器提供了简单的确定性方法。将时域中的滤波器反射响应与适当调谐滤波器的响应进行比较，能揭示需要对哪些谐振器或耦合调节调谐。利用时域滤波器调谐，很容易为这一复杂任务培训新人员，并大大简化精细调谐和故障查找步骤。
　　为了对器件进行更先进的表征，选件002增加了谐波测量功能。可以直接或以相对于基波的dBc数显示放大器的扫描二次和总谐波电平。按动一个按钮，即可测量达-40dBc的谐波。
