GDS - 3000系列采用VPO(Visual Persistence Oscilloscope)信号处理技术以高速波型更新率以及多层次余晖显示来提高波型显示能力的效能。GDS - 3000系列的设计采用了高速FPGA并列处理模式,取代了传统的微处理器架构,大大地提高数据处理速度及波形的获取速率,VPO技术使GDS - 3000系列能对于测试讯号所发生的频率度能以类似模拟示波器的多层次余晖来表示。由于VPO技术示波器对于所显示的讯号皆包含振幅,时间和讯号强度之3维波形数据来显示每个波点,相较于一般传统的数字储存示波器,GDS-3000提供了更多的有用的信息于画面上。高速波形撷取技术,可以对快速的事件如视频,抖动,噪声和矮波信号作更精确的分析。
