Inspector 454主机采用全铝结构，同时，在设计过程中运用了广泛的计算机辅助设计中的有限元分析原理和模块化设计原理，使得整机系统具备了改善的抗温变能力和抗形变/扭摆能力，提高了整机空间结构的稳定性，降低了结构微形变、振动以及温度梯度变化对测量性能的影响。闭式空气轴承设计优化了测量机各轴的机械运动,因此，整机系统在测量过程中表现出极高的重复性和系统长期的稳定性。

From the base machine structure point of view, Inspector 454 features all-aluminum construction and utilized comprehensive CAD techniques, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Module Analysis, with the result of improved thermal, dimensional/torsional, and geometrical stability and reduce structural deflection and the effects of vibrations and thermal variation on measuring performance. Wrap-around air bearing design optimizes the axis kinematics movement. Therefore the whole system characterizes the optimum measuring repeatability and long-term system consistency.
